Happy End - challenging perceptions of old age
The art-intervention Happy End has travelled around the Nordics since 2015. Artistic leader, choreographer and dancer Ingrid Tranum Velásquez shares experiences, reflections and artistic strategies through talks, webinars and facilitation of workshops. In Happy End the focus is on mutual creation between the professional dancers and nursing home residents as well as the transformative potential of the relation.

NextDoor Project has nearly 10 years of experience in co-creation, particiption, citizen-involvement and art interventions. We are happy to share our experiences and create dialogue about art & citizenship and the relational and transformative potential of choreography.
Children & Youth workshops and artistic activities
We have been a part of the program Dans for Børn by Dansehallerne from 2008-2017 and have many years of experience facilitating choreographic workshops at kindergardens and schools. We have created artistic processes for children and youth between 4-18 years old and has additionally many years of experience facilitating choreographic processes for children and youth who do not share the same languages.
Latest:
Kompetenceløft - a program initiated by Dansehallerne, Teater Centrum and Copenhagen council in 2017, giving daynurseries and kindergardens the possibility for in-house collaboration with an artist.
Ingrid Tranum Velásquez is selected artists in the program since 2017. The program is now administered by Sokkelundlille and financed by Copenhagen council.
HOME, a collaboration between NextDoor Project, MYKA and Krumbuktus. HOME was a project under Statens Kunstfonds huskunstnerordning. HOME is an artistic investigation of home, roots and sense of belonging, created in collaboration with children from 4-6 years. The project visited in 2019 kindergardens in Helsingore council, Frederiksberg council and asylum centre Sjælsmark.
